Which 2019 Grand Cherokee Model Is For Me?

Being the most awarded SUV of the market, the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee's trims provide customers with a well rounded applique of functionality and purposes to fulfill your every driving need.  Its seven trims offer budget vehicles that have extraordinary family comfort and hauling potential, luxury options that offer very well valued features and technology to enhance your convenience, the ever present Jeep-famed Trail Rated Trailhawk blazer, and performance SUVs that bear down to the pavement and go at breathtaking speeds.  Which is best for you, you ask? There's definitely a lot to consider in the Grand Cherokee's wheelhouse of power and capability, but East Hills Jeep is here to make shopping for your perfect trim a little easier.

Budget-Friendly:
The Laredo and Limited

These two benefit most from the technology upgrades Jeep has introduced into their 2019 models.  All Jeep Grand Cherokees now come equipped with standard blind-spot and rear cross-path detection sonar alerts.  The latest Uconnect apps are equipped within every Grand Cherokee, as well, playing through either a seven or 8.4-inch dash-nested touch-detection screen, complete with standard Bluetooth, voice command recognition, and smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.  Navigation is given standard within the Limited. All vehicles come with hands-free steering wheel mounted button controls for the radio modes, Bluetooth phone capabilities, and standard cruise control. For comfort, the Laredo comes with cloth upholstery while the Limited already breaks into leather and heated seating.  All Grand Cherokees are equipped with dual-zone automatic temperature controls, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, power accessories, and power seat adjustments.

Luxury-Class: The Overland and Summit

Transitioning from budget-minded to luxury extras, the Overland and Summit trims bring the full array of available technologies found within the Grand Cherokee to your vehicle.  There's convenient-enhancements such as a power liftgate, an 115-volt auxiliary power outlet, and broadening availability of driver assist features like forward collision mitigation, LaneSense correction, adaptive cruise control, and park assistance both for perpendicular and parallel parking.  There's comfort enhancements like heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, remote start, active noise cancellation, and leather-wrapped dash and door panels. Technology meets power, as these trims come with the option to upgrade the standard 295 hp 3.6L V6 engine to the 360 hp 5.7L V8 HEMI, boosting performance from 6,200-pound tow capacity to 7,200 pounds.  V6 equipped vehicles come either in rear- or all-wheel drive, while the V8s come automatically with all-wheel drive.

Adventure On: The Trailhawk

Similarly equipped to the luxury trims, the Trailhawk sets itself apart with some unique tougher looks to match its higher capability skillset.  The Trailhawk comes equipped with an enhanced Quadra-Drive 4x4 System that comes equipped with an electronic rear limited slip differential and a stiffer suspension for great off-roading.  Protecting your Grand Cherokee on the rougher paths, the Trailhawk protects the underside with four skidplates and a higher ground clearance for better approach and breakover angles. Red tow hooks come standard, and it also comes equipped with Jeep's Trailer Tow Group to give your Trailhawk a 4- and 7-pin wiring harness and Class IV hitch receiver.  If you'll ever want to hit the paths less traveled in life, the Trailhawk is definitely meant for you.

Pedal to the Metal: The SRT and Trackhawk

Performance-bred SUVs unlock the full potential of the Grand Cherokee's specially engineered systems, and this year you have two to choose from.  These two again come equipped similar to the Grand Cherokee's luxury options with whole new exclusive HEMIs to choose from. First is the SRT's 6.4-liter V8 churning out 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.  Second is the Trackhawk's supercharged 6.2-liter V8, an engine that may sound familiar from the Dodge Challenger Hellcat's equipment. Performance is just as good as the muscle car, too, with 707 horsepower roaring under the hood and 645 lb-ft of torque driving the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk forward.  This fastest and most powerful Grand Cherokee can sprint forward from zero-to-sixty in 3.5 seconds. Both these vehicles features an active damping suspension, Bilstein high-performance brakes, and personalized real-time performance stats.

Jeep's flagship SUV has been commended in every area of performance and comfort, engineered to have a trim to suit anyone's lifestyle and needs.  See a model you like?
