Wagoneer Maintenance Schedule
Make Your Appointment at East Hills Jeep!
The 2022 Wagoneer is a great choice for busy families on the go! The Wagoneer is a three-row SUV with space for up to eight passengers. But that's only the beginning! The Wagoneer creates a truly luxurious and elevated driving experience for everyone on board, with features like Nappa leather-trimmed seats, high-tech gadgets, and tons of available extras like massaging front seats. Plus, the Wagoneer also has true off-road ability, including a maximum towing capacity of up to 10,000 pounds. With an SUV that's ready for anything, it's important to keep up with regular maintenance so that your Wagoneer stays in excellent condition for years to come! There are many important maintenance services to keep track of, including oil changes, tire rotations, replacing your tires, brake repair, and more. This may seem intimidating, but don't worry! Continued down below, we'll be showing you an example of a maintenance schedule for your Wagoner, so that you always get the right service at the right time. Keep reading to learn more!
8,000 Miles
Within the first six months of owning your Wagoneer, you're likely to run up an average of about 8,000 miles. Of course, this timeframe will depend on your unique needs as a driver, but you can use the 8,000 mile-mark as a guide for your first routine maintenance appointment! At this time, you'll want to get an oil change, and make sure the oil filter is replaced. From there, you can get an oil change about every 8,000 miles to follow, or about every six months! If you're starting to see any signs of wear on your tires, you can go ahead and get a tire rotation at this point as well.
20,000-80,000 Miles
During this range, you should bring your Wagoneer in for routine service about every 20,000 miles, or at the 20,000, 40,000, 60,000, and 80,000 mile-marks. During these appointments, you'll get the same services mentioned above, like an oil change and a tire rotation. Getting routine tire rotations ensures that all of your tires get an even amount of wear, making them last longer as a set. In addition to those services, maintenance within this timeframe may also include replacing the cabin air filter and air conditioning filter. The mechanic will also check on elements like the brake linings, suspension, and axle fluid for the front and rear, making replacements as needed. After about 3-5 years, or up to 75,000 miles, you should also get your battery inspected and replace it if necessary.
90,000 Miles
At this point, you should definitely have your battery replaced if you haven't already. You should also make sure that you've recently replaced your cabin air filter, air conditioning filter, and engine air filter. If you've put a lot of wear on your tires through off-roading, it may also be time for a replacement set. At this point, you may also need a wheel alignment or a balance to protect your suspension. Make sure that all of your fluid levels are topped off, including the engine coolant, front and rear axle fluid, and windshield wiper fluid. As always, be sure to also keep up with your oil changes and tire rotations.
100,000 Miles
If you're taking great care of your Wagoneer with regular maintenance appointments, it will still be running smoothly at the 100,000 mile-mark and beyond! In fact, a well-maintained Wagoneer can even surpass 200,000 miles and still perform well. Once you reach your first 100,000 miles, you should definitely replace your tires if you haven't already. Your mechanic will also check the same elements as the 80,000-mile visit, in keeping with the 20,000-mile schedule. This includes checking your brake linings, axle fluid, and suspension. Plus, they will also replace your spark plugs, the PCV valve, and any fluids that were not replaced at the 90,000 or 80,000-mile service.
