Jeep has totally revamped the Cherokee for the 2019 model year! The Cherokee is a great SUV for those that are looking for both on- and off-roading capabilities in a stylish package. On the outside, Jeep has refreshed the front end with a new headlight design and the tailgate received a few changes too like the movement of the license plate and new tail lights. Moving inside, the Cherokee is now more sophisticated than ever before with a modern media hub, improved cargo space and so many available advanced features. There is even a brand new engine option for the 2019 Cherokee! Now that you know a little more about the Cherokee check out our break down of each trim level and everything they offer! 

The entry-level Latitude starts off the model lineup. This model is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that creates 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque and is paired with an automatic nine-speed transmission. This model can be outfitted with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Standard features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to keep you connected, a six-speaker sound system, automatic xenon headlights, a rearview camera, height-adjustable front seats, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, a rearview camera, rear seats with 60/40 split folding, and front passenger seat that can fold flat and has a storage compartment in the cushion, a USB port, 17-inch wheels, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Latitude Plus
The Latitude Plus model builds off the entry-level trim with features like two additional USB ports, keyless entry and ignition, satellite radio, leather upholstery inserts, a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, and a power adjustable driver seat. Jeep offers the Comfort and Convenience package for this trim level. This package adds a universal garage door opener, remote start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power liftgate, dual zone climate control, and a household style outlet. The Trailer Tow group package is also available for this trim and it adds a full-size spare tire, trailer wiring harness for both four-and seven-pin systems, a Class III hitch, and a transmission cooler. Jeep powers this trim level with the standard 2.4-liter engine but offers the ability to upgrade to either the new 2.0-liter or V6 engine. 

The Limited trim gains the Comfort and Convenience package as standard and adds features like an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, an enhanced driver information display within the gauge cluster, leather upholstery, a power front passenger seat, rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert, and 18-inch wheels. This trim is also powered by the standard 2.4-liter engine but you can upgrade to the available V6 and brand new 2.0-liter engines. The Technology Group package is available for the Limited trim and it adds safety features like an automatic parking system, automatic high beam headlights, automatic wipers, lane departure warning, traffic-adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. The Trailer Tow group package is also offered for this vehicle.

The top-of-the-line Overland model is powered by the 3.2-liter V6 engine that produces 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque matched with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Standard features comprise of HD radio, a navigation system, a nine-speaker sound system, a sliding rear seat, a power-adjustable passenger seat, ventilated front seats, upgraded leather upholstery, wood-steering wheel inserts, a leather-wrapped instrument panel, driver-seat memory functions, sound-deadening front windows and windshield, cornering lights, unique body-colored exterior trim, and exclusive 18-inch wheels. You do have the option to upgrade to the new 2.0-liter engine with this model. You can also add the available Technology group package to this trim level for additional safety features. 

The Trailhawk model is made for off-roading with features like an advanced all-wheel-drive system known as Active Drive II with Active Drive Lock, all-terrain tires, wider 17-inch wheels, tow hooks, a locking rear differential, increased ground clearance, off-road-oriented suspension tuning, and hill ascent and descent control. Additional standard features include leather and cloth upholstery and unique exterior trim. The Trailhawk can be equipped with a version of the Comfort and Convenience package as well as the Trailer Tow group package. Just like the Overland model, the Trailhawk is powered by the V6 engine but you can upgrade to the 2.0-liter.
