Jeep Renegade Trailhawk's Off-Road Capabilities

The Jeep Renegade by American standards is very compact and because it has a Fiat-sourced 119kW/250Nm, 1.4-litre MultiAir Turbo engine, shares a platform with the Fiat 500L and will be built in Malfi, Italy. The 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk is the only version of this crossover to receive Jeep's "Trail Rated" designation. The Trailhawk's upgrades consist of an Active Drive Low four-wheel-drive system with a low range, an increased ride height, off-road tires, hill-descent control, and different front and rear fascias that improve approach and departure angles.

The Renegade Trailhawk also comes standard with the larger, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 184 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque through a nine-speed automatic transmission. As a refresher, the Renegade Trailhawk has an increased ride height, skid plates and unique bumpers that improve the approach and departure angles. The model also has hill decent control, a Jeep Active Drive Low four-wheel drive system, a Rock mode and exclusive 17-inch alloy wheels with "aggressive on-road and off-road tires."

In conjunction with the converter transmission, this therefore ensures improved climbing capabilities of the Jeep renegade Trailhawk. It is on the way but still has somewhat higher tires, one to 12 on 210 millimeter increased ground clearance, skid plates and a special front bumper with a better angle.
