Some exterior features include a Willys decal on the hood, an 'Electric 4-Wheel Drive' decal on the rear swing gate, and Electric Blue accents on the Jeep Badge, Trail Rated badge, tow hooks, and exclusive Willys decals. The Wrangler 4xe is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, seamlessly meshing gas and electric power. The Wrangler 4xe uses a 2.0L turbocharged direct injection engine, an electric motor mounted to the front of the engine, another electric motor mounted inside the transmission, and a 400-volt rechargeable battery pack. The Wrangler 4xe's battery pack is located underneath the rear seat and sealed off to protect it from the elements, no matter where your adventures take you. This setup gives the Wrangler 4xe 375 horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque, and 49 MPGe.

The Wrangler Willys 4xe is meticulously crafted to handle any adventure you're ready for. It features exclusive off-roading equipment to enhance the Wrangler's legendary capability even further. First, high-strength steel skid plates protect the undercarriage. The Willys trim also rides on 32-inch mud-terrain tires on 17-inch black painted steel wheels, making it easy to pass over and through any trail obstacle while maintaining traction. The Trac-Lock limited-slip rear differential, standard equipment for the Willys trim, helps keep the wheels in control. Lastly, Willys also uses the same rock rails as the Rubicon trim, increasing off-road maneuverability and protection.
