Blind Spot Monitoring on the Dodge Durango ensures your surroundings are always in check, helping to keep you aware of things outside your vision and alerting you to possible obstacles when changing lanes, because a split second can make all the difference.

Taking the braking a step further, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, standard on the Dodge Durango Citadel, maintains the set speed if the lane ahead is clear. When slower traffic is detected, the system will automatically adjust to a pre-selected distance using throttle control and limited braking. It will even bring your vehicle to a complete stop if needed.

The finest details can be the most critical, which is why the Dodge Durango uses throttle control and limited braking when detecting slower traffic ahead, to adjust cruising speed and maintain a pre-set distance.

FCW+ provides a warning for drivers when they venture too close to the car ahead of them. If the driver does not respond, FCW+ can bring the vehicle to a complete stop.

With three rows and up to seven seats, there's plenty of room for you and your crew.

Arrange the interior to fit your needs for cargo and passengers.

What engines will I find with the Durango?

Of course we can't discuss the Dodge Durango without talking about all of the different engines that you'll be able to choose from. Those options are what bring people back to this vehicle year after year, and we don't want to have to make anyone wait in order to get the information that they're most looking for. There are four different engines in this lineup, with all of them getting an eight-speed automatic transmission. You'll also either get rear- or all-wheel drive, depending on your preference. The base engine itself is a 3.6-liter V6, which can create 293 horsepower and up to 260 pound-feet of torque. Right above this engine is a 5.7-liter V8. Here you can get 390 pound-feet of torque and 360 horsepower. Once you get to the second half of this lineup, the power really is upped. You'll be getting a 6.4-liter V8, which creates 470 pound-feet of torque and 475 horsepower. The last engine is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, which creates 710 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque.

What trims are offered with the Dodge Durango?

Even with such a great engine lineup, that doesn't fully encompass everything that the Durango can do for you and your passengers. This is a vehicle that is multi-functional, and we're pleased to share with you the great lineup of trims that you can choose from. The base trim is SXT, which comes with tri-zone air conditioning, five-occupant seating, smartphone integration, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, fog lights, and daytime running lights. The R/T trim comes in with heated front seats, Amazon Alexa, an Alpine audio system, a performance suspension, a navigation system, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, and rain-sensing wipers. A trim like the Citadel includes leather upholstery, driver aids, heated and ventilated front seats, a powered sunroof, and second-row captain's chairs.

What safety does the Durango offer?

While the comfort and power of the Durango are important, we are pleased to share with you the ways in which the Dodge Durango can help keep you safe, no matter where your drive takes you. We're pleased to talk about features like automatic high beams and even adaptive cruise control. Something like the Technology Group package steps everything up, giving you forward-collision warning, active braking, lane-keeping assistance, and lane-departure warning. No matter where you turn, this large bodyguard of an SUV is there to help you make the best decisions possible.
