2019 RAM 1500 Power & Handling

The all-new 2019 Ram 1500 is equipped with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine. It boasts 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. It features an eTorque mild-hybrid system and is linked with an eight-speed automatic transmission. 1500 is alternatively equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 engine which is rated at 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The 2019 Ram 1500 is available with two-wheel or four-wheel drive, making it easy for drivers to find their perfect configuration.

2019 Chevrolet Silverado Power & Handling

The Chevy Silverado is available with a few different engine options. The standard 1500 is equipped with the 4.3-liter V6 engine, which is rated at 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque and is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. Another available engine is a 2.7-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It produces 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque. Two-wheel and four-wheel drive systems are available.

2019 RAM 1500 Features & Design

As an all-new, redesigned truck, the 2019 Ram 1500 has received significant updates. The lineup of trim levels has been revised, but the base model remains the popular Tradesman trim. It features a 23-gallon gas tank, 18-inch steel wheels, trailer-sway control, coil-spring suspension, and active grille shutters. The interior features vinyl floors and seats, air conditioning, an electronic parking brake, push-button start, a manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and cruise control. A 5-inch Uconnect infotainment system is also standard on the Tradesman trim. There are many incredible features on higher trims, like deployable side steps, a 12-inch screen, heated seats, and wood accents.

2019 Chevrolet Silverado Features & Design

The Silverado has also been redesigned for the 2019 model year. The base Silverado Work Truck model has 17-inch painted steel wheels and 4-wheel disc brakes. The interior is available with either cloth or vinyl upholstery.  An infotainment system comes standard, as does a USB port and six-speaker sound system. Other features include a rear-window defogger, power mirrors, and cruise control. On the higher trim levels, the Chevy Silverado is available with an 8-inch screen, two 120-volt power outlets, and wireless smartphone charging.

The incredible all-new 2019 Ram 1500 is a fantastic vehicle that offers more capability, comfort, and innovation than any of the competition. The available Uconnect system is the most intuitive on the market, offering ease-of-use and an innovative 12-inch screen. From the base model to the top trim, the 1500 is remarkably well-equipped, offering something for everybody.
